Skiing + AKAHendy Chest
Filed in Shendy's Workouts on Jan.18, 2009
I went cross country skiing for the first time in probably 20 years. It was a lot of fun. We were out for about an hour and a half and got in approximately 6km.
Also, I felt I had some extra energy when we got home so I went for a workout with my brother. If you’ve seen any of his workouts before, he’s pretty much a machine. I did:
- 1/2 Mile Run @ 7.5mph
- 10 Close Grip Chinups
- 5 Wide Grip Chinups
- 4 Sets Flat Bench (8@135lbs, 10@185lbs, 8@225lbs, 4@245lbs)
- 3 Sets Incline Bench (10@135lbs, 2 sets of 10@155lbs)
- Incline Dumbbell Press (10@50lbs, 10@55lbs, 10@60lbs)
- 3 Sets Cable Flies (10 per set @ 30 lbs)
- 3 Sets Decline Bench (machine) – (10 per set @ 40lbs per side)
- Drop sets (burnouts) – 4 Sets Incline Dumbbell Flies (15 per set @ 30lbs,25lbs,20lbs,15lbs)
- 3 Sets of 10 – Medicine Ball Abs
- 3 Sets of 10 – Medicine Ball Ab Twists
- 3 Sets of 12 Per Side – Wood Chops (Cables)
- 2 Sets of 50 Cross Over Situps
- 1 Minute Front Planks (Bridge)
- 45 Seconds Per Side, Side Bridge
10 points for me – I certainly deserved my cheat meal that night: spaghetti with meat sauce, caesar salad, garlic bread, and too much chocolate fondue.
Rest day today FOR SURE.
Shendy.
